Table for Two has been a cherished tradition for 17 years. Engaged and married couples are invited to enjoy an evening filled with great food, wine, and heartfelt conversations designed to enrich their relationships.

What is Love? Love is more than a fleeting emotion—it is a deep, selfless connection that binds people together. It thrives in commitment, sacrifice, and genuine care for another’s well-being.

And what better night to express and celebrate love than Table for Two!

Hosted by the Ignite Ministry Team at St. Patrick’s Church in Toronto, Table for Two has been a cherished tradition for 17 years. Engaged and married couples are invited to enjoy an evening filled with great food, wine, and heartfelt conversations designed to enrich their relationships. This year, 19 couples gathered for this special occasion; four of which were engaged couples to one couple celebrating 51 years of marriage!

But love was not only witnessed in the couples attending—it was also reflected in the dedication of the volunteers who made the evening possible. This year’s team spanned multiple generations, from an 11-year-old volunteer to those in their 70s, all working together to create a memorable experience.

Each year, the event follows a familiar yet beloved format: a carefully curated four-course meal prepared by a talented kitchen crew—some former chefs, other professionals in different fields, united by their passion for good food. Fr. Santo’s renowned Double Diablo Chocolate Cake is always a crowd favourite, adored by everyone! The evening is further enriched by the contributions of our volunteers, including Redemptorist priests, adults, and students from both high school and elementary levels, all coming together to bring warmth and hospitality to the occasion.

For 17 years, Table for Two has been a true labor of love, made possible by the dedication of the Ignite Ministry Team, parishioners, and volunteers of all ages. This year was no exception—it was a beautiful display of love in all its forms, from romantic love shared between couples to the selfless love of those who served behind the scenes.

As we look ahead, we are reminded that love is not just something we feel—it is something we do. And at Table for Two, love is always on full display.

Here are some photos from the event, capturing the true essence of the night—love, joy, teamwork, and unforgettable moments!
