On July 28, 2011, four men arrived to begin their Novitiate year at the Interprovincial Novitiate in Toronto, Canada. These include (left to right in the photo) Quy Duong, Kevin Zubel, Graham Hill and Tomás Murray. In the middle of the photo, in habit, is Carmelo Gonzalez, who continues his Novitiate, having started on Sep. 13, 2010. He has about six more weeks to go.

Quy is from Houston, Texas, and is a novice for the Denver Province. Kevin is from Austin, Texas, and is a novice for the Denver Province as well. Carmelo is from near Cuernavaca, Mexico, and is a novice for the Edmonton-Toronto Province. Graham is from Calgary, Alberta, also a novice for the Edmonton-Toronto Province. Tomás is from Belfast, Northern Ireland, and is a novice for the Dublin Province.

Graham is originally from Leichester, England. He came to Canada in 1999 stopping in Ottawa, Saskatoon, Toronto, Edmonton, Belleville & Calgary among other places. He has worked in computer programming for the last 26 years. Six years ago he seriously started contemplating a call to the priesthood which ultimately lead him to look at the Redemptorists after reading the works of St. Alphonsus. Graham is also a serious jazz player.
