Since I cheated a bit and sent around the Denverlink with their report on Dialogue 2014, I just wanted to add a couple of pictures about the Edmonton-Toronto contingent.  You see in the picture at the left the three young adults who joined me for the “journey”. Janille Durity Wingson from OLPH parish in Vancouver; Devan Jaeger from St. Joseph’s parish in Grande Prairie; and Michael Fagan from St. Teresa’s parish in St. John’s.   One of the nice things, for me, during the week were the two sessions that I had for dialogue with these three fine young people.  It was a good learning experience for me; and each of them told me how much they appreciated this opportunity.

I was also impressed with the way Janille, Devan and Michael entered right into the “week” talking and sharing with others, mixing well, Michael playing the piano for our liturgies, Devan being the first into the lake (followed by about 35 others) before the afternoon barbeque, and Janille dancing up a storm!

We were accompanied on the journey to and from Toronto by 8 participants from the Yorkton province, which added a very lively dimension both to our travel and to the week.  Fr. Mike Smolinski gave a great presentation on the Resurrection; Fr. Taras Kchik preached at the Byzantine liturgy; Michelle Thiessen was one of the “organizers” and a great time was had by all!
