Sister Pearl Mutter O.Ss.R. of the Redemptoristine Nuns of Canada completed her earthly journey for eternity at Providence HealthCare, Toronto, Ontario on Thursday, October 8, 2020. Sister Pearl was born in Humboldt, Saskatchewan on January 28, 1928. Mourning the passing of Sister Pearl Mutter are the Sisters formerly of the Fort Erie, Ontario Monastery and the entire Redemptoristine Order. Sr. Pearl is survived by her sister Laura (Bill) Prokopow and nephew Henry Prokopow. Predeceased by her parents Elizabeth Therres and George Mutter.
Sister Pearl Mutter, O.Ss.R. was a professed member of the Order of the Most Holy Redeemer for 65 years. She made her first profession in 1955 and celebrated her Diamond Jubilee in May of 2015. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Mark Miller C.Ss.R. at 9:00 a.m on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at St. Bernard’s Residence, North York, Ontario. The Interment will follow at 12:00 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Snyder Ontario.
